Installation done in 20 min...configuration in 30 min.
Ready! A really great and inexpensive product.
March 16, 2004 - GFI faxmaker by Dr Waheed, Product Rating: 4/5: I am currently using the trial version of GFI faxmaker after having alot of difficulty with winfax. I have to say that the programme is reliable but it could be slightly more user friendly. I found it difficult to configure the coverpages particularly in adding our company logo. It needs a through usermanual and the programme should allow you to view a fax with the coverpage prior to sending the fax.

The customer service online is helpful and overall in view of the price aswell I have to rate the programme highly.
October 2, 2003 - Great software! by Rich,: We are using the 4 line version of the software and are currently only using it for inbound. The PC we used is an Athlon XP 1700+, 512mb, Windows 2000 Pro, and we opted for a Comtrol Rocket Modem II (4 port) instead of going with external USB modems. The software installed with no problem at all. It's easy to configure the software and once you configure the first line you can have that same configuration copied to the other lines. This was helpful because we're using 4 incoming lines (all faxes go to the same number and then they rollover to an open line if the main line is busy). By default the faxes are saved in a .fax format (whatever that is) so we changed the setting so the faxes are stored as a .pdf on the server - a very cool feature! Overall we are very pleased with our choice in selecting GFI for our faxing solution.

June 5, 2003 - ... it is the best! by Jerry Hoffman,: I tested this product along the same time as with GFI's MailEssentials and again, I had a 90-day eval period to test this product.
And again, I didn't need half that long to decide that I wanted to get the product registered.
Very easy to install and configure to get you up and running in a minimal amount of time.
The client can fax Windows-based documents from most Windows-based apps at a high level of quality.
I've personally tested Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Acrobat Reader, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Freehand, Visio, Palm Desktop, TrackIT!, Crystal Reports and ScreenPrint Gold. The images generated for the fax transmission were solid.

January 27, 2003 - The BEST fax connector for Exchange by Rick Kaczerowski,: Our company had previously used FAXserve and FAXserveIT from CAI then AccPac. Faxmaker blows those other products out of the water. It is simpler to install, configure and administer. It is also a much more reliable product. GFI's tech support is quick to respond to requests for assistance. I highly recommend this product!
November 13, 2002 - Affordable, highly functional and low maintenance by Charlie Wiley,: Our company has been using GFI FAXmaker for over 2 years. We have 30 users who never have to leave their desks to fax a document. In the two+ years that we have been using GFI FAXmaker, we have not had a single problem that wasn't solved in a matter of minutes. We used it with Windows NT and migrated it to Windows 2000. It is an affordable, highly functional, low maintenance product. We love it.

September 27, 2002 - ..very pleased by Steve Lawler,: Adopted FAXmaker for Exchange in 1997 and the product just got better and better....had a few problems in the first year and support was tough to work with at first, though since then every new version saw improved functionality and stability. My last support request was about 6 months ago regarding a problem with integration with Exchange 2K, got it working again within the day thanks to support so we've seen improvement there!

Version 9 seems to speak for itself, extremely stable and excellent features. Two Thumbs up!
