Archiver requires no changes to your Exchange environment, using Exchange journalling technology to capture messages. Reducing your email storage requirements by utilizing single instance storage of attachments, Archiver offers up to 80 per cent more space efficient storage versus PST files. Access to the archive is based on Windows authentication, allowing you to utilize your existing security policies. Retrieval of the messages is based on SQL stored procedures, preventing access from 3rd party tools and applications. Additionally, write access is prohibited to the messages within Archiver to prevent tampering.
