Sophos PureMessage for Windows/Exchange provides integrated gateway and messaging protection from spam, viruses and spyware. PureMessage identifies up to 98% of spam and protects against email scams, including phishing attacks. Sophos technology detects, disinfects or quarantines viruses, spyware, Trojans and worms in incoming and outgoing email. PureMessage enforces policies to block unwanted attachments, and unwanted content in attachments and body text. The latest software, virus detection files and new spam rules are downloaded automatically via the internet.
A Microsoft Management Console (MMC) interface allows the straightforward configuration and management of PureMessage. An end-user interface provides an email-based spam digest review for the quick retrieval of legitimate messages. Global organisations are protected from viruses and spam in multiple language message streams.
